Harder & Steenbeck airbrushes are both reliable and easy to use, allowing you to achieve the highest artistic standards.

The Harder & Steenbeck modular system means that if you later decide to upgrade your airbrush to a more detailed configuration, you can even install the famous FineLine nozzle system from the Infinity airbrush onto your Ultra.

The airbrush comes with a new 0.45 mm nozzle, which offers greater detail than the previous 0.4 mm nozzle sets while providing greater ease of use and versatility during painting. And of course, in keeping with the H&S philosophy, the new system is fully backward compatible for those of you who already own H&S airbrushes.

You’ll certainly appreciate the practicality of the included 5-ml cup. However, if you want an unobstructed line of sight for a detailed view, simply unscrew the cup and use the built-in well as a micro-cup within the airbrush housing for small amounts of paint.

We recommend any single-piston compressor capable of powering an airbrush up to about 25 psi—there are many options available, and we’re happy to recommend Sparmax compressors, which are available in our store.

When introducing the new Ultra, Harder&Steenbeck decided to create an entirely new trigger mechanism. The previous model had a trigger that was lighter than the competition’s, which was difficult to get used to, especially for Iwata users. In the new Ultra 2024 airbrush, the trigger is just as stiff as in Iwata airbrushes. Was this an improvement? – You’ll have to see for yourselves; opinions among new users are divided, but the truth is that it’s a matter of getting used to it.  

Undoubtedly, the new model benefits from the additional adjustment of the maximum spot size; while it isn’t infinitely variable, beginner users will appreciate the step-by-step mode. Thanks to these improvements, the new Ultra 2024 makes it easier to apply primer or clear coat, and with a single switch, you can adjust the trigger for base coat or acrylic, thereby eliminating runs and excessive dust.
